Working on a master plan for 152 acres in the Piedmont region near Charlottesville, Virginia, not to distant from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and the University of Virginia. The Piedmont is a transitional zone between the Appalachians and the coastal plain. The land is half forested with a mature oak-hickory-tulip poplar canopy, and half pasture where we will be setting up a rotational grazing system. Spectacular. Here are some pics sent to me by the client from last early autumn.
