Boynton Beach, FL – 2010
All of the human waste from the city of Boynton Beach, Florida, on the east coast, empties into this wetland where it is processed biologically. I have never seen so much diversity, both animal and botanical. It is impressive to witness this as a possibility for all municipalities in the country, utilizing biological cycles to return our so-called “waste” back to the soil, to regenerate our beloved natural areas, and supply nourishment for our plants and animals.
