Grass Valley, CA – 2009

In our second course, in as many years, at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Grass Valley, California we helped former student Mike Kluk, whose land borders the ashram, look more deeply at his homestead in order to configure a lasting harvest through all seasons in perpetuity. Mike and his family settled here a year ago and already have an abundance of yield being garnered from their property. Set in a valley in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, it was a breathtaking site to hang out in for a few days and learn and discuss the intricacies of Permaculture. Our site visits took us to varied projects around the Grass Valley, Nevada City area.
