These pictures are from two former student’s homes located near downtown Minneapolis. In these ongoing projects, they are raising chickens and turkeys, fish, and hundreds of multi-functional plants for food, medicine and utility, collecting rainwater and graywater, redesigning their sites out of typical urban-suburban lawns, into diverse habitats for creatures from all the kingdoms of nature.
