The Karges Residence
The Karges residence, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is owned by an engineer, expert in designing and installing geothermal, water collection and gray water systems around the world. His home is built of recycled materials from the house that he lived in previously on the same site for forty years. I put together a team of three past students and we worked with the Karges family on their grounds, greenhouse and general Permaculture design for the property. Included here is the initial assessment and recommendations. This is an ongoing project. More to come later!
