 2008 SCHEDULE

PERMACULTURE DESIGN CERTIFICATE COURSE

Humankind has lived through three great cultural epics: the hunter-gather, agricultural and the modern era of intellectual, artistic and scientific living. It is urgent in this day and age that the best elements of these three epochs come together to create an ecologically sound environment for all. In this course students will experience lectures, media presentations and hands-on practice in the art of Permaculture, based on seasonal and site requirements.

We would like to thank all of our students, clients and well-wishers from the 2007 season. You are all out there doing important and heartfelt work. Keep on keepin' on!

The Permaculture Project

The Permaculture Project helps to build the proper eco-skills necessary in all areas of life. Our vision is to make sure that all of our students and clients are able to read directly from the very “Book of Nature.”

Care and love of the environment are at the core of our work; ethics and values grow naturally out of these practices. We engage the whole person- body, mind and spirit- as we teach strong observational and listening skills necessary to understand the functioning of the world around us.

The Permaculture Project believes that education focuses our efforts to answer life's fundamental questions. Learning the answers to these questions is best encouraged through love, nurturing, cooperation and reverence for all life.

Wayne Weiseman is Director of The Permaculture Project.
