In November, 2011 the Permaculture Project and Midwest Permaculture taught a full Permaculture Design Certificate course after four days of a building workshop in super adobe. Cal Earth, created by Nadir Khalili some twenty years ago, is a shining example of earth architecture and community. Our student’s task was to develop an integrated Permaculture design for the entire Cal Earth site. Here are the results of a collaboration between thirty-two fledgling designer’s from around the world.
