Today we processed and ate two chickens, gutted a rattlesnake brought to us by Sanders who was a student of mine when I taught primitive skills in Utah in 1989 and now living at Koinonia, milked Short Stuff the cow, learned about aquaculture and aquaponics, and moved the cattle into a new paddock. My student Dan Truesdale stepped up as a teacher, focused and enthusiastic. We even squeezed muscadine grapes for wine making.
