It is important for us to begin the process of saving our seeds. There are currently many back orders for seeds because of, happily, the surge in growers everywhere, especially in the local food movement. Saving seeds is very easy, but it takes some patience. The book, Seed to Seed, is an excellent resource. It comes out of the Seed Saver’s Exchange of Iowa, an important organization and seed bank, well worth investigating.
