Patterns of Galveston

Just returned from doing a consultation on a forty acre property in Houston. Dan Halsey and I took a drive down to Galveston yesterday morning. I am always fascinated by the patterns of ocean and sand. They are stripped bare for us to observe. The forces of water and wind carve the beach into spectacular shapes, textures and subtle nuances of color. What underlies all of what we see and live in is given to us in its essential form at the edge between wave and earth.
