Is it Illegal to Walk in Automobile Nation, Patterns Flying into NYC, Swamp, Cicada Emerging from It’s Own Skin

Just about every morning I take a 3-6 mile walk. What astounds me is the look on the drivers’ faces, as though a walker is a sinner, an outcast, a nuisance. Although I much prefer a walk in the woods, at times I take the byways and highways of the automobile. Isn’t it rather odd that many of the roads we track were once upon a time native pathways? An automobile is a large metal, rubber and plastic thing that can knock you down and flatten the body into the tarmac. Built from petroleum chemistry it rules the ancient walking trails and leaves the walker as a leftover out of the equation. What gives here? And take a look at the patterns as viewed from 20,000 ft and the approach to Laguardia Airport. Another petroleum thing powered by “whispering” jets. And then there is the swamp and the cicada emerging from its own skin, and believe you me, it will take off and fly and needs not petroleum to do so.
