Dropped in at Organic Valley headquarters in LaFarge, Wisconsin at the Kickapoo Country Fair, yesterday and took a plant walk with Samuel Thayer, forager par excellence. For those of you who do not know his books, Nature’s Garden and The Forager’s Harvest, are some of the best out there. They should be on everyone’s bookshelf, but more importantly, in hand when combing the wilds for edible species.
