Kinstone, Phragmites and the Wonders of Wisconsin in Spring

I just returned from Kinstone in Wisconsin where I have been working with Kristine Beck on her project for the last year and a half. We are gearing up for our natural building workshop in July. We will be constructing a cordwood building with a thatched roof. As you can see from these pics we accomplished a daunting task: three hundred bundles of phragmites for the roof!
