Here are some photos of the clay model that we use in our courses demonstrating water flow and catchment. The students also work on researching and developing plant guilds. Today we took part in a mycoremediation project for a section of wetlands at Edgewood College using oyster mushroom spawn layered in wood chips. The goal is to suck up road salts before they migrate their way into Lake Wingra.
