The trees are starting to arrive. Measuring swales in the front yard where a food forest is planned. Although the slope is minimal there I am digging swales to hold water on the property. Today honeyberries and potatoes came via UPS. Yesterday we planted countless greens of all varieties. Our peas have sprouted. The weather here in Southern Illinois is rainy, interspersed with dry, sunny days. Will be back as we plant the trees in the next couple of days.
