The City Museum in St Louis: Worth a Visit

Recently I took my family to the City Museum in St Louis. We had the opportunity this time around to be the first folks on the scene and it was like walking into the fantasy of your life made manifest. Normally we arrive amongst screaming kids and adults. Of course, given the fact that the kids of all ages would be showing up soon enough, we relished the initial experience greatly. This place is the ultimate in resource recycling and reuse. It has been constructed with old industrial equipment, log cabins, junk vehicles and airplanes, pieces of ceramic tile, you name it. It is the ultimate playground for all ages. I want to post some pictures to give us all ideas on how to go about reutilizing found and scavenged resources. As Michael Reynolds of Earthship fame said a few year ago: tires and tin cans are the greatest natural resources of the twentieth century! Is this not Permaculture at its best?
