The End of Plenty: National Geographic

For those of you that subscribe to National Geographic please pay special attention to the the June isssue and the article “The End of Plenty: the Global Food crisis”. It is a very telling report on the state of the world’s food crisis and where we are headed. One fact that sticks out is that the production of ethanol from corn takes food out of the mouths of many. But what is the wisdom behind growing more corn when we can feed many more with healthy food from a sustainable system? Is Permaculture the answer? It is a good start. Yours, Wayne
